แอปพลิเคชัน THIM รองรับการลงทะเบียนข้อมูลผ่านมือถือ โดยผู้ใช้งานสามารถสแกนหนังสือเดินทางให้ระบบอ่านและบันทึกข้อมูลอัตโนมัติ จากนั้นกรอกข้อมูลที่พัก การเดินทาง และวัตถุประสงค์การเข้าประเทศในรูปแบบ Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) ช่วยลดขั้นตอนและระยะเวลาในการดำเนินการ โดยใช้เวลาเฉลี่ยไม่เกิน 3 นาทีต่อคน และยังสามารถลงทะเบียนแบบกลุ่มได้สูงสุด 10 คนพร้อมกัน

นอกจากนี้ สตม. มีแผนพัฒนา THIM ให้เป็น Super App สำหรับชาวต่างชาติในอนาคต โดยจะรองรับบริการด้านตรวจคนเข้าเมืองแบบครบวงจร เช่น การยื่นคำร้อง ขอเอกสาร นัดหมายเจ้าหน้าที่ และติดตามผลการพิจารณาผ่านระบบออนไลน์ ลดความจำเป็นในการเดินทางมาติดต่อด้วยตนเอง และช่วยลดความแออัดในหน่วยงานตรวจคนเข้าเมือง

ปัจจุบัน THIM เปิดให้ดาวน์โหลดเพื่อทดลองใช้งานและเชื่อมโยงกับระบบ TDAC แล้ว รองรับ 4 ภาษา ได้แก่ อังกฤษ รัสเซีย ญี่ปุ่น และจีน พร้อมมีแผนขยายการรองรับเพิ่มเติมอีกอย่างน้อย 15 ภาษาในอนาคต โดยมีกำหนดเปิดใช้งานอย่างเป็นทางการเต็มรูปแบบในเดือนสิงหาคม 2569 เพื่อยกระดับประสบการณ์การเดินทางและผลักดันประเทศไทยสู่ระบบตรวจคนเข้าเมืองดิจิทัลมาตรฐานสากล

The Immigration Bureau has developed the THIM (Thailand Immigration Management) application to facilitate foreign nationals in registering their information digitally prior to entering Thailand. The initiative is designed to enhance the efficiency of monitoring and managing foreign residents while strengthening national security and minimizing issues that may affect the country’s tourism image.The THIM application enables users to complete registration via mobile devices. Foreign travelers can scan their passports, allowing the system to automatically read and record personal information. They can then provide accommodation details, travel information, and the purpose of their visit through the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) system. This process simplifies procedures and reduces processing time to an average of no more than three minutes per person. The application also supports group registrations for up to ten travelers at the same time.
In addition, the Immigration Bureau plans to further develop THIM into a comprehensive Super App for foreign nationals. The platform will eventually provide a full range of immigration-related services, including application submissions, document requests, appointment scheduling, and online tracking of application status. These features will reduce the need for in-person visits and help alleviate congestion at immigration offices while maintaining effective oversight by immigration authorities.
THIM is currently available for download on a trial basis and is already linked to the TDAC system. The application supports four languages—English, Russian, Japanese, and Chinese—with plans to expand support to at least 15 additional languages in the future. Full official implementation is scheduled for August 2026, with the goal of enhancing the travel experience and advancing Thailand’s transition toward an internationally recognized digital immigration system.
